The double conversion process, AC-DC-AC, of the ReGen Power system has a regenerative effect on the power. The ReGen regulators system output power characteristics are isolated from the input power. This means neither common-mode or normal-mode noise is presented to the protected load. The regenerated output provides for the elimination of spikes, sags, and surges while at the same time producing clean sine wave output power to the using load.
Electronic Regulation
The ReGen system is a true electronic regulator designed specifically for protecting todays electronic equipment. The low impedance transformer and high capacity inverter maintains power to the crucial peak demands of a wide range of different types of electronic systems, like controllers for numeric milling machines, MRI and CAT scanners, rocket test motors and any other electronic device sensitive to changes in the electrical delivery line. The design allows for the acceptance of a wide range of voltage and frequency with the ability to program a variety of specified outputs with ease.
Overload & High Current Capacity Abilities
The system can provide an extremely high amount of surge current to demanding electronic equipment. The ReGen was designed with a unique high inrush inverter that will supply currents many times the nominal regulators ration. Therefore, the ReGen does not have to be oversized to meet the demands of the high inrush current of most abnormal load requirements. The overload rating is higher in both magnitude and duration than the typical tap switching or ferroresonant regulator. THis ensures that the electronic equipment is fully power isolated and protected during all phase of customers equipment operation. The overload capacity of the ReGen system is the only regulator capable of absorbing the inrush currents created by air conditioners and/or other motors loads.
Ruggedized System
The ReGen systems basic design, both electronically and mechanically, is designed for harsh environmental conditions. The electrical harness and board connections are mechanically locked to resist degradation due to vibrations. The NEMA 1 enclosure is a field proven product.
