About Computer Power Solutions
Computer Power Solutions, Inc. (CPS) was founded in 1987 by Ed Muxo, a former Hewlett Packard computer environmental planning representative. His single minded purpose was to provide realistic solutions to prevent and /or eliminate computer power problems.
After eight very successful years of meeting and exceeding customers expectations Ed sold CPS to Robert M Miller, formerly with IBM. Miller left IBM after nine years and co-founded the very successful Computer Power Systems Corporation which was acquired by Emerson Corporation in 1984. CPS has continued to this day to provide the valuable service originally envisioned by ED Muxo. During the period from 1985 to present CPS has had as high as 31 employees on staff.
In 2014 CPS was fortunate to be able to add the services of Mark Evans, formerly with Hewlett Packard, working in the same job description as ED Muxo. CPS has grown with the computer industry and now employs three full time Sales Engineers, highly trained and experienced, in analyzing, defining, and recommending solutions to power problems. In addition to trained technical sales personnel, CPS enjoys the benefits of a company owned facility located in Los Alamitos,Ca., staffed by competent and dedicated Customer service personnel.
CPS offers complete field service on all products sold. This service includes installation, remedial and preventative maintenance.
